2025 had one last party left in it and we went back to where we’d ended the year before, high above Hout Bay at Lichtenstein Castle.

As midnight drew closer, the Castle filled with Lovers ready for one final celebration together, counting down the last few seconds of 2025 before welcoming a brand new year.

A new year and another New Year’s Day exactly the way we like it.

Cape Town brought the sunshine and our Lovers brought whatever energy they had left from the night before. Somehow, there was plenty. Our first SGL of 2025 was a special one.

Lovers have never needed much convincing to dress up.

Wings, glitter, feathers, masks and costumes of every kind turned the shore into a colourful world of its own. We danced from afternoon into night, celebrating the start of another SGL summer.

There was only one way we wanted to spend the first day of 2024: with our Lovers.

Grand Africa Café & Beach gave us sunshine, sea views and a dance floor that stayed busy long after sunset. A beautiful beginning to another year of SGL!

Lovers, the time had come once again. As the stars aligned and the moon cast its eerie glow, the Castle opened its ancient doors to those who sought an experience beyond the ordinary. You were part of a night that defied expectations, blurring the boundaries between reality and the supernatural.

We took a trip down the coast to the iconic Plettenberg Bay for a little holiday! We were joined by Lovers both seasoned and new, and we had the most amazing adventure with you all. Our main stage hosted Bloem (IBZ), Contact High, Culoe De Song, Dean Fuel, Karoo, Lucideep, and Xavier Dragner. Our intimate forest stage welcomed GIZ (GER), LIMI (ISR), Los Jetsons, Lovers, Purple Floyd, and Steam03 who carried us into the night.

We bid farewell to our most epic season to date in the picturesque wonderland of Nooitgedacht Wine Farm. This one holds a special place in our hearts as we danced our hearts out with the indescribably talented Enoo Napa, Floyd Lavine, Mamela, Man of Lemon, Musumeci (ITA), Pariah, and Yulia Niko (GER) on our mainstage while the courtyard was rocked by Bruno Morphet (peroxide set), Date Night, Fairly Odd, and Paradise Citizens.
